Basic Spiel

It occurs to me that this word-spewing of mine may not actually be read by anyone. But anyway, it's kind of refreshing to at least put it out there.

So. Spring Break. Is your first official high school spring break supposed to be some kind of rite of passage or something? If it is, I'm totally spending it the wrong way. I suppose kicking it off with falsetto renditions of California girls blasting out of my brother's beater van was about the most exciting thing I've done so far. Technically, I've only been on break for about an hour. But still, all I've done is Polyvore and watch Die Hard 2.

--A brief word about action movies, and then back to spring break. Once you get passed the whole nasty gore and violence aspect, action movies are freakin' awesome. Heck, that plane explosion was about the coolest thing I've ever seen. Especially since it made McClain (and yes, I know I probably spelled that wrong) cry. That's the other thing about action movies. The hero is always some buff, tough, hot shot kinda guy with a mysterious and troubled past. What's not to like?--

Back to break. I've never really been able to tell if it counts as a spring vacation if you're staying in the same state. I guess it does, but traveling across the state seems to be way less fun than heading South to say, Florida, the Bahamas, Alabama, Hawaii...heck, anywhere warm. I figure that as long as you've got your best friend and some cash to burn, it counts.

And! My birthday is a week from tomorrow.

The bad part? A pile of chemistry homework and a book report. But still. No school. It's all good.
